Finishing off the season in true style the Professional Theatre Program presents Alan Ayckbourn’s blistering comedy A Small Family Business, directed by Bertrand A. Henry. Considered by most to be somewhat of a black morality play, this splendid piece of theatre won the Evening Standard Best Play award in 1987. Follow this wonderful tale of Jack an honest upright fellow who takes over as managing director of the family furniture business, expecting to find room for improving efficiency. But his managerial skills are no match for the wholesale fraud, deceit and theft which he uncovers both in the business and amongst his family.
