As a student in the Professional Theatre program, you will experience the thrill of performing in our own first class Dome Theatre, in front of a llive Montreal audience. All Studios and Major productions are performed at the Dome Theatre. Second-year students engage in Studio performances, while the Major productions are reserved for the Third-year students. The First and Second-year students are grouped by the Technical Director to undertake CREW duties. CREWS
Crew assignments: involve the preparation and presentation of Major Productions including building and painting of sets and scenery, making and gathering of properties, lighting, making costumes; front of house, etc. YEAR II students act as Crew Chiefs and are expected to:
* Assure that their crews develop & maintain a good productive professional attitude and understand the importance of their role in the outcome and quality of the production.
* Ascertain through discussion with their supervisors, what their crews must achieve.
* Do what is necessary to see that deadlines and objectives are met.
* Post and up-date the crew-schedules daily if necessary.
* Foster promptness and constructive participation of crew members.
* Demonstrate the specific skills needed for successful completion of their crew's duties.
* Provide the Technical Director, at the end of the production period, with a report of their crew's participation. |  |
