Ray
VanDusen has
been actively involved in many aspects of
photography for over 30 years. As a fine
art photographer with an MFA degree, Ray
has exhibited in numerous exhibitions here
in NorthAmerica as well as Europe. He has
been awarded many grants for hiswork (eg.
Canada Council, Ontario Arts Council, etc.),
pieces of which are held in a number of public
and private collections (eg.National Gallery
of Canada, Canadian Museum of Contemporary
Photography, etc.). In his commercial photography
role, he has photographed for the gamut of
industry from banks to airlines to hotels
and large manufacturers (eg. Royal Bank,
American Airlines, Sheraton Hotels, Bombardier,
etc.). Ray has been teaching at Dawson College
since 1979 where he specializes in digital
imaging, compositional design as well as
the creative process. Ray has also been teaching
digital imaging at the Maine Photographic
Workshops for the past ten years.
